Ticketmaster's Hidden Fees

ticketmaster01.gif

The hidden fees by Ticketmaster is a bit out of control.

I have ordered two tickets to see the band Cake perform this Thursday. The ticket price advertised on Ticketmaster's website and local radio station's commercials said it is $15 per ticket.

But I after I placed the order via Ticketmaster's website, the total became $45 with all the hidden fees! That is $15 of fees, which is the same price as another ticket.

  1. Some charges may be initiated by the venue so you may have to pay it regardless of whom you purchase the ticket from. Morover, I especially find the ticketfast charge ridiculous because it costs you (and TM nothing) to print out your own tickets. Had you chosen the mail option, the delivery cost would be $0 to you but TM would have to pay for the mail charge.

  3. you can also just pay 2 dollars I think to get an email ticket. I hate the convenience fees. You could almost buy a t-shirt with that money, or 3 beers!

  4. TicketMaster needs to be destroyed. I can't begin to count the number of times that I've tried to buy tickets on their web site, only to have the order fail during processing and the order not go through, even though they have all my credit card info stored on their servers.

I love the answer to their FAQ about the security of storing info on their servers...it's a load of bullshit.

It's time to find a way to take the evil empire called TicketMaster down to its knees!
