This is a reasonably large chain in the upper-Midwest. I almost fell over when I moved here and saw the first one. Strangely, the the locals seem quite used to it and I've never heard anyone from here make a joke or comment about the name.
I love the name, it's the only place that I go to for gas. I can't help but laugh everytime I write out the name on my check. My wife, on the other hand, refuses to write that name and makes the check to cenex.
I work at a Kum and Go. It's always great to have people from other states come in and buy 20 KG lighters or 4 KG shirts. But yes everyone that lives here in Iowa is used to it because you see them everywhere. I would just like to have a Kum and Go down the street from a Pump and Munch so the jokes would just make themselves.
I work at a Kum and Go in Wyoming. No one has joked about the name to me yat and that's a good thing. Knowing my luck some old fart will say something funny and I won't be laughing.
I'm a bookkeeper entering transactions for one of our contractors and actually googled the name to ensure that it was actually a deductible business expense and not an "entertainment" expense! lol...
yea i work at a kum and go in iowa. its a good time having people make fun of the name. my favorite part is when people mispell the k with a c. so it says cum and go...... then they look at me like there isnt anything wrong. i try not to laugh
You'd certainly not want 44oz of it :S
